This was an absolute gorgeous, well made trash can but it arrived all beat up. We really wanted to keep it or order a replacement but the manufacturer needs to protect all sides of the product with styrofoam before shipping. I would love to get this trash can but i fear the next one would be the same. Hope they fix this situation so we can order again

It’s a trash can so I feel weird about writing a review, BUT it’s an $118 trash can. Lol As far as the features and aesthetics it pretty much covers everything you would want in a trash can. I will say that it is NOT smudge proof at all, and I’m not sure if I received a defective product, but I could not get mine to close after opening with the step pedestal. It would close maybe a fourth of the way, and stay open. I ended up returning. I plan to reorder after I receive my return although I’m mot sure why I have to wait for Amazon to receive the item back before being refunded. Fingers crossed that I received a defective one, and this is not a recurring issue because I really do like it.

I know that when purchasing a used item, it’s not new, however I expected it to at least be clean. The lid gets stuck half way down and won’t close completely.
