The concept is cute but the item is plastic and flimsy and did not include any hartware to attach it to the postbox.

The hole on the flag where you attach to the mailbox was too small. The cardinal's proportions were too big for our medium size mailbox.

After moving into our new home, my wife & I realized that our mailbox was missing something. Not figuratively, but completely missing a flag. We wanted something that would stand out & also had recently gotten a light up cardinal outdoor decoration. This product was easy to install, is a sturdy plastic material & is lasting very well with no signs of wear or tear. It's a great value for the price!

I cut mine down a bit as I don't think it would have withstood the mail carrier treatment, especially in the Winter. Still a little flimsy, but hoping the shorter length will help.
