I've tried many different solderless cable kits over the years. I really liked these since you could use the same connector for both straight and right angle connections.I followed the guidelines on their YT video, and I would test each cable on a tester before installing it on the board - even twisting and turning the cable to stress the connection a bit.But ultimately I found that I had a few that were not working once I tried to test the whole board.Ultimately, I just don't think I can trust the connections that do work over the long haul and was frustrated that the cables that weren't working had tested good on the tester before install.

This product looked wonderful, quality....but...it did not work..A guitar cable that would not connect period... no matter how I tried over and over following the instructions and I have years of cable experience with Georges L's cables that have never let me down... but they are expensive... I found these cables and they were a 1/4th the cost of the Georges L's but... they are useless... I took my lumps and threw them in the trash... lesson learned :(

Don't buy, Not a good product, you can't trust on this cables playing live, suddenly they stopped working, you have signal lost, gain lost. Choose soldered patch cable. This unsoldering cables may work on home but not playing live, they are untrustful.

I have ordered these before and was very happy with the sound quality and ease of use. Ordered again for a second project and arrived with less than one foot of cable, an empty sealed bag with no cable ends and a lose screwdriver. Check contents as was unhappy with 90% of the parts missing.

the assembly was easy however you have to make sure that the screw is very tight to make a good connection
