This 5875 Cylinder Liner Remover is an ideal tool for use on Detroit Diesel 60 Series 12.7L and 14L engines with EGR as well as DD13 DD15 DD16 MTU S2000 engines.
This ruggedly constructed tool is simply inserted into the cylinder and tighten the expander nut, the metal cylinder body expands out to ensure a secure hold on the liner.
As the bridge nut is tightened the liner is released from the engine block.
Use the convenient handle to lift the liner from the engine block and transport it to a work station or storage location.

Similar to J-45876.
Compatible with OTC 5875.
Expander and bridge nuts feature thrust bearings for friction free operation.
Fits liners with bores ranging from 5.0 inches to 5.75 inches.

Installation Guide:
Step 1. Clean and wipe out the inside of the cylinder liner of any oil or coolant.
Step 2. Install the J-45876 cylinder liner removal tool in the cylinder liner to be removed with bridge resting on deck of cylinder block and lip of tool resting on the top of the cylinder liner.
Step 3. Tighten the lower nut to expand the tool in the cylinder liner.
Step 4. Tighten the upper nut on the tool until the cylinder liner is pulled from the cylinder block. Remove the cylinder liner and tool.
Step 5. Remove the tool from the liner.

Thought I'd be happy if it made it through one motor. Couldn't even pull one liner out. Tried different o rings as well. It wouldn't get tight enough to pull liner before the piece of pot metal crap cracked and bent. Hopefully someone sees this review before they spend the money.
