These jack pads are super durable. They have some give to them to ensure no damage while lifting a vehicle with the jack.

These little pucks fit right on the cup of my floor jack and I use them to protect the undercarriage of my vehicles when I need to jack them up. They look like hockey pucks but are designed to be used for floor jacks and look like they will fit most typical floor jack metal cups. I’ve already used one to replace an old rubber pad that eventually cracked and broke apart after several years of use. They’re pretty inexpensive and do the job just fine. It’s well worth the price to get one and avoid scratching up the frame rails of your vehicle when you want to jack it up to work on.

The only problem I had was they stuck to the chassis and I would forget them. They did soften the Jack lift

Si te haces la pregunta del título al pensar si es necesario comprar este artículo, como casi siempre que escribo alguna reseña en Amazon, te diría: "depende".¿Cómo que depende? Sí, depende de qué tanto quieras conservar en buen estado los puntos de apoyo o levante del auto. En mi caso, el gato hidráulico que utilizo tiene un punto de contacto como el de cualquier otro gato ordinario, es decir, una "charolilla" metálica, sin más. Con el uso, esa pieza del gato, sin una goma de apoyo como esta, terminó por romper los puntos plásticos de levante de mi auto. No les doy mucha importancia puesto que son relativamente económicos de reemplazar (de hecho creo que aquí mismo los compraré), pero, ¿Es necesario esperar a que el gato doble o rompa los puntos de levante y apoyo plásticos del auto o simplemente es mejor cuidarlos? Bueno, pues supongo que la cosa es obvia.He tenido que gastar en estas gomas de contacto y, además, tendré que reemplazar los puntos plásticos deshechos. Doble gasto, digamos.Esta goma también me ha sido útil para los puntos de apoyo metálicos, reduciendo la posibilidad de que entre metales resbale el gato, y a cuidar -lo que queda- de los puntos de apoyo plásticos.Su calidad es bastante buena. No se siente "económica" al tacto, tampoco de rápido reemplazo, lo que me hace pensar que durarán mucho más de lo que creía cuando las ordené, es decir, años (literalmente).Es cóncava y eso la hace ideal para puntos de levante en los que necesitas un poquito más de seguridad para tomarte de ese punto "resbaladizo o dobladizo" y levantar el auto.Finalmente te diré que es un artículo absolutamente prescindible, pero que, si quieres dejar de rayar, doblar o raspar plásticos y metales agregando mejor contacto al los puntos de apoyo o levante del auto, esto es un must have en tus herramientas.Cómpralo, no te vas a arrepentir.

If you work on car it works very good it makes the car level when you jack it up and you don't have to worry about no scratches or anything you denting underneath your chassis on your car

It shift to the right or left because it’s slightly bigger than the lift base it sits on. First time using this product I noticed signs of tearing. Not sure how long this pad will last.

I like these floor jack rubber pads as they are well made and server the purpose. Each rubber pad fits the jack lift point perfectly. With the pad in place I feel more secure knowing that the jack has no chance of slippage. It also protect my car pinch weld too. Yes, I would recommend these pads to anyone.

Used it with the harbor freight 3 ton low pro jack. Didnt fit so well in on the jacking point but the pad itself held up. Definitly recommend it to someone who doesn't want to crush their pinch welds.
