Purchased 6 of these and installed 4 of them. Within one week 3 have failed. Solar panel and light housing is thin plastic. Wiring connecting panel to light is very thin as well. These are horrible! Don’t buy them.

I had just bought one of these lights at this insanely inexpensive price. (1980’s price)I noticed though there was no plastic film on the panel and a little dusty as if it was a return, I was going to return it for that reason, cause it sucks when you buy a return, but I charged it by the panel today and turned it on 10 min ago, and wow is this nice and bright! The main panel is secure, but the 3 other light panels swivel for more coverage. This solar light is high quality, and the solar panel is oversized, looks mono-crystal, which is top off line stuff. I am so pleased with it that I just ordered another one. There great for rooms in the house, so when you walk in it turns on immediately and automatically.I’m disabled, so I have one near my chair so when I get up at night when it’s dark, this unit has motion detection, so it turns on as soon as I stand. (I have it angled so it only turns on when I get up) Now I’m glad my other cheap light stopped working so that I could find this gem. I’m thinking a couple more because the cost is $20 for free lighting! I ordered it last night and it came this afternoon?! Wow-fast!Get them now quickly before they catch on, good luck and Merry Christmas!

The good. Very versatile with the three pivoting lights and separate solar panel with extended power cord. The system gives off a decent amount of light. Easy to install.The bad. The motion sensor lags a bit or is not very sensitive. It seems you have to be right in front of the system to activate it. The light is set for 25 seconds and cannot be adjusted longer or shorter. After the time has expired the lights turn off. The motion sensor then needs to sense motion again to turn lights back on. It does not stay on continuously if there is continuous movement/motion in front.Will test out some more and adjust positioning to see if it can be improved and edit if necessary.
