Jameson JE Series Fiberglass Base Poles have a solid foam core and are 2-1/2 times stronger than wood. The foam core prevents the buildup of debris and moisture inside of the pole which compromises the electrical protection of the pole.
- Polymer protective surface veil prevents fiber blooming at surface due to abrasion or ultra-violet light
- JE Series consist of a limb & wire raiser, 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12 ft extension pole, and a 6 ft base pole

It’s nice to have all the total lengths in 2 foot increments from 4 to 22 feet. I bought extra Pole Saw Heads to use as a hook to hang each pole on a nail, but there are probably cheaper solutions. I keep and extra (sharp) blade on one of them. The sections fit a bit tight when new. You can extract a section by putting the hook around a convenient object and giving a small tug. The fittings seem to loosen up quickly with use.
