I ordered this cute stamped cross stitch to teach my granddaughter. The stamped design is not very clear and not in color, which would be very helpful for beginners. I wanted this to be the first step before teaching her counted cross stitch, but found the pattern to be very small and confusing because it was stamped all in blue. Could not tell where one stitch started and one ended.Very disappointed in this kit. Gave 2 stars for overall rating because the picture of the finished puppy in the kit is adorable.

I got this as a beginner kit for my daughter. I’ve been doing cross stitch for a decade or more and this was hands down the worst kit I’ve ever used. This isn’t cross stitch fabric which makes it hard for a beginner to make even stitches. The printed pattern is smeared and blurry so it’s hard to see where to place the stitches. The thread is weirdly stiff.The final result was a bit wonky but cute. I wouldn’t recommend this for a beginner because it honestly hard to use. But if you are experienced and like the pattern...well I still wouldn’t recommend it because it was an exercise in frustration but that’s your call.

This was a great starter set for my 8 year old. The instructions were easy to follow. The only drawback was that the material is solid with the x’s printed on it instead of a standard cross stitch fabric with the holes already in it. It made it more difficult to find where to poke the needle through.

It is on regular fabric, not Aida (cross-stitch) fabric. It is difficult to make even x’s, especially for children.

i bought this for my mom for her first cross stitch and she loved it. She did a great job. Here is the finished product my mom finished and the things that came in the package and the instructions front and back. Says there was supposed to be a needle but there wasn't any needle in the pkg.
