I had never made sushi before. But I figured this out so Quickly!! Hint: Wrap with plastic wrap in the opposite direction than you'll use the rolling mat (across the ends of the sticks) and keep your hands and utensils wet. Super fun!! We are all sushi masters now! The pic is of my 1st roll and while I make beautiful/perfect rolls now, I wanted to show how even the first try will be a success with this kit!

The mats are great. They smell like fresh bamboo and worked perfectly when I made kimbap. Highly recommend for the value and quality.

I was actually looking for another rice paddle and a spreader when I came upon this offer. You can always use additional rolling mats and these are well made. In my opinion, you can't beat this combo if you are getting set up to make your own sushi.

I was debating on this for a while & my only regret is not getting this set sooner! It was the cheapest options for a set like this! I made homemade sushi and made it with cauliflower rice instead of regular sushi rice! It came out amazing and was so easy to make thanks to this rolling kit! I did watch some videos on youtube about rolling sushi, the directions on the packaging were in Japanese. If you are even debating this just get it, even if you use it a few times it's worth it!

I love this so much I made tons of sushi with this very easily and happily. I would recommend to anyone wanting to buy this. I don't regret it and would most likely buy another as a gift for my friend.
