Great for a home bar. Used it to make a strawberry margarita

This is an elegant and attractive jigger for your bar. I am not an alcohol enthusiast, but I find shot glasses useful for other things and I like to have a nice bar set, even if I don't use it very often. The shape of the jigger is graceful, the design simple. Nicely done. Five stars.

Jigger has 1oz and 2 oz measurements. Also has measurements for 1/2 oz., 3/4oz., and 1 1/2 oz. Measurements are little hard to read. Love how tall the jigger is making it easier to handle.

This is a quality made, double sided, stainless steel jigger which can measure one or two ounces depending on need. The 1oz side has a 1/2oz and 3/4oz measurement and 2oz side has a 1.5oz measurement. Neither side has printed markings, just engraved into the cup which I find somewhat difficult to see when pouring the alcohol. Other than this, it's easy to hold on to and should last a good long time.

After unboxing I found the stainless steel mirror finish very nice, despite noticing it having a few faint scratches on an outside section of the 1oz cone of the jigger from Vibarutens. These tiny scratches can be polished and obscured with 3k grit or higher polishing papers so it does not really detract from the item much for me.A quick polishing with a paper towel and rubbing alcohol on the inside and outside removed a bit of greasy dark gray residue from the factory. After rinsing the item in filtered water, I measured a full to the rim 1oz pour of straight rye whiskey, Alias that was distilled in Indiana, into a thick standard marked 1oz shot glass of which I own several identical ones all from the same manufacturer from the late 1990’s. The level measured 3mm over the white line of my shot glass, about the amount I pour my shots when I want a stronger flavor in a mixed soda. I found the center ring on this jigger where the cones meet made a really good handle and that the process of pouring a shot went much smoother without splashes and was more precise than when pouring from a shot glass into a larger glass of soda.I noticed there is no line marking 1oz, or any other marks etched on the 2oz side of the jigger, which is something I would be more inclined to mix with instead so that I don’t unintentionally spill the contents over the edge of the 1oz side. I guess I will just have to pour 1oz from a shot glass into the 2oz side and remember where the top of the liquor line was for future reference. The 1oz part of this jigger also has 1/2oz and 3/4oz lines clearly etched on the inside if needed. After my first ever experience using a double sided jigger I think that this is a bartending device of high quality and a great tool for precise measurements of liquor, liqueur, and flavored syrup, which is very important. I would recommend etching more measurements inside the 2oz side, which would suit my drink mixing preferences better.

Seems to be well made, of stainless steel. Obviously, one can use it to measure 1oz or 2oz, but 1oz end has internal markings for 1/2 and 3/4 oz as well, and 2oz end has markings for 1 1/2oz. So very flexible for many kitchen and bar measurement tasks IMO. I, in fact, got it mainly for kitchen/cooking use.

Double sided jigger with 1 oz on one side and 2 oz on the other. Within the 1oz side are markings for ½ oz and ¾ oz. Inside the 2oz side is a marking for 1½ oz. The internal lines are easily visible, but I have a hard time reading the internal marking numbers without reading glasses. Not a big deal, since I know what the lines represent and I don't really use fractions of oz for anything.

If you own a standard jigger (EG: it has a single cup, and it’s very short), you might be wondering why you would want a Japanese-style jigger. If so, this review is for you.Our household has been using an Oxo jigger for years. It has many pluses: it’s easy to read, and easy to store. But it can also be a bit hard to use.So I was curious to try the world of Japanese-style jiggers. They’re taller, and they have two sides. This jigger (the “Bar Jigger 2oz/1oz – Double-Sided Stainless Steel Cocktail Jigger” from VIBARUTENS) is kind of a mixed bag.PRO:--It looks great. It’s made of stainless steel, and it has a decorative appearance, with an almost fluted design in the middle.--It’s much taller than a one-level jigger, making it easier to use and hold.--The measurements are stamped, not printed, which means they should last a while.CONS:--The measurements are somewhat hard to read.--The measurements aren’t as comprehensive as I might like.--There is very little room to spare in each cup, meaning you’ll have to measure and pour carefully. All in all, this jigger is fine, but isn’t quite as nice as I hoped for.
