This unit is decently built for the purpose and keeps my spices inside when I shake it like a popcorn popper. It is thin however so you need to keep the head down and the spices moving as they get warm fast. With that in mind it works great.

It’s smaller than what we thought and the sesame seeds shake out of the holes while trying to roast.

It does what it says it’ll do but it’s made of tin and feels cheap. Wouldn’t buy it again.

I've used this to roast black mustard seeds and celery seeds so far and it works very well. I'm happy with the design, where the lid fits snugly to the pan so even small seeds can't escape. The wooden handle, which doesn't transfer heat, is an added bonus. Would definitely purchase again.
