Immerse yourself in the rich heritage of Japanese sake culture with our beautifully handcrafted Sakazuki cup set. Each set includes five delicately designed porcelain cups, made using the traditional Minoyaki technique, embodying the timeless artistry and elegance of Japanese craftsmanship. With seven unique sets to choose from, you can collect and enjoy a variety of stunning designs, each telling its own story. Sakazuki are shallow, wide-mouthed cups traditionally used in Japan for drinking sake, particularly in ceremonial and celebratory occasions. Their origins date back centuries to the samurai era, where they symbolized respect, honor, and the forging of bonds. Whether used for formal rituals or casual enjoyment, Sakazuki cups bring a refined authenticity to any sake-drinking experience. Crafted from high-quality porcelain, our Minoyaki Sakazuki cups are both lightweight and durable, providing a smooth texture and an elegant finish. The fine porcelain material enhances the flavors of sake while maintaining the perfect temperature for an optimal drinking experience. Whether you are hosting a sake-tasting night, celebrating a special event, or simply appreciating the finer things in life, these Sakazuki cups add an authentic touch to any gathering. They also make a unique and thoughtful gift for sake lovers, collectors, and those who appreciate Japanese culture. To preserve the beauty and longevity of your handmade Sakazuki cups, gently hand wash them with mild soap and warm water, avoiding abrasive scrubbers that may scratch the delicate porcelain surface. They are not recommended for microwave or dishwasher use to maintain the integrity of the designs, and careful storage is advised to prevent chipping or damage. Elevate your sake-drinking experience with this exquisite Sakazuki cup set, indulge in the beauty of Japanese tradition, and make every sip a moment to remember. Order your set today and bring the spirit of Japan into your home!

These are beautiful. They are intended for sake, but the bowl shaped ones could be used for sauce or condiments or for a small dessert or side dish. They came in a lovely black box and each cup is carefully wrapped. The plastic wrapping the box itself was well folded and taped, not glued.Every detail is exquisite. The price for something hand made can't be beat, and this would make a lovely gift for anyone that drinks sake, likes pottery, or likes Japanese things.

I’ve been a fan of this brand since I ordered their single sake set that’s shaped like a festive Geisha doll, I highly recommend you check that product out. This particular sake cup set has 5 different glazing colors and at least 3 different techniques used—due to 3 different textures on the cups. Its extremely unique and well made. Together, the ceramic runs the spice color pallette and looks festive in an earthy, organic way. When not in use with sake, I find the shape to be absolutely perfect for daily vitamins and pills so they actually get used daily. This is also authentic made in Japan, with an information pamphlet all in Japanese. The paper box is highly giftable with a nice presentation.

Comes in a nice wooden box stamped with the maker's marks, and careful foam padding for each cup.Cups themselves have no markings anywhere or underneath which is a little disappointing, but I guess if you wanted to show these off you would just store and present them in the wooden box. While the shape matches, the colors are much different than the ones shown in the photos, along with the patterns. It seems each cup is completely hand made and painted, so don't get too attached to any one design or pattern you see in the photos, because each individual cup is somewhat unique.I was quite set on the pink cup and was going to have that one by my personal cup but unfortunately none of the ones delivered match that design. Mine is the φ2.7 set.

These are very nice cups for tea. Solid pottery with beautiful colors. Very well made, and well packaged. I love too that the box is just as beautiful for storing.
