Nice string, just got it on a few days ago so there's still some break in to be done, but so far so good, love the tone and it hasn't whistled yet!

Maybe this just didn't work on my violin. Where others might find power, I just found a lot of brightness and tinniness.

This string was highly recommended as a alternate to the Dominant string set. Mine may not have been played enough yet, but I find it too soft (the opposite of Evahs which I didn't like at all). I'm going to try the new tin Dominant and see if that works better. This string sometimes wolfs and doesn't project as much as I would like when playing on the high positions. I encourage all to try different strings on your instruments, since all strings will sound different on each individual violin. When you find the combination that works for you, its a gift.

I find myself returning to this e-string all the time. It matches well with many sets of G,D,A combinations (Dominant, Vision, Infeld Blue). It is clear and focused and does not squeak easily. The brilliance and clarity exist all the way up the fingerboard. The ringing overtones, power and clear focus brings me back to this string. It also seems to work well with every violin I own.
