Bump stops are intended to limit the travel of the suspension. Failure to replace the bump stop can result in a shortened shock absorber service life.

The shock mount is the fastening point between the top of the shock and the car body's body and is typically a combination of steel and rubber.

Secures the rear shock to the chassis of the vehicle. This mount can be found on the underside of the chassis.

This lower shock mount is located on the lower control arm and acts as a mounting point for the rear shock absorbers.

Ordered this for a 2011 BMW 328i xDrive and the parts that were included were fine. However, there is a solid metal cover part missing that is used to mount the shock at the top fastening point between the shock and the car body. Without this part the shock will wobble at the top. I had to reuse the old part that was removed from the old shock to mount the shocks properly.
