My youngest is small for his size and most "kids" Things are either way too small for him or somehow too huge for him. This balaclava fits imperfectly. I do wish it would be a bit longer so it would stay tucked in to his jacket. As far as fitting around his head and over his face, it is a perfect fit. My son says it is a comfortable fit and it is warm. He likes that he can either have his face covered or tuck the fabric under his chin comfortably. Both of us also liked that he only has to keep track of the one thing versus a hat and a scarf. He likes the fact that there's no fussing with trying to tie the scarf just right any more.

I like how cool this looks on my nephew. Perfect to play in the snow! Cover his head and neck perfectly. Does not fall off. He loves pretending he's a ninja!

This is a warmer balaclava versus some other amazon choices. It can fit kids and smaller adults/teens easily. There are several frayed threads, so quality is so-so. It works for what it's intended for. Keeps you warm outside in the winter.Fun color for young girls. Very soft fleece and then inside of the head is the sherpa type lining.

I ordered this for my son because he recently lost his balaclava and I wanted him to have something thicker where he doesn't need to wear a hat over it. The color options on this one are great and he loves orange and blue, so it worked out nicely. This kind of fits his head funny though. He's almost 7, so it's a little big for him and also a little shorter in the neck than I'd expected. The top of the hood part doesn't come all the way to his forehead, so while wearing this, his full forehead is exposed to the cold. The orange nose piece almost doesn't go high enough to cover his full nose either. And to top it off, within minutes of him putting it on, we were adjusting the strings on the side and one broke off. The fleece is pretty thick and the fur/sherpa lining on the inside seems pretty warm. I will most likely return this item and look for something better suited to him.

My son plays outside every day at school, and he used to always complain about his cheeks getting cold. But I found the perfect solution! This awesome accessory covers his cheeks, and when he wants to take it off, he can just slide it down to his chin. The fleece material keeps him nice and warm all around his neck and head. Since we got it, I haven't heard any more complaints, and he seems so much happier outside!

My son likes the color combo and the sherpa on the inside of the hat. He doesn't like that the mask comes up close to his eyes. We adjust it but it still wriggles up after some time. We also wish it was longer as the neck gaiter will start under his coat and eventually wriggle out and allow cold air in.
