This small box is colorful, vibrant, and perfect for jewelry and assorted trinkets. It is versatile and functional and very well made. If you know someone who loves bees I think it makes a bee-utifl gift.

So it is small...yes, but I knew it.It is also very beautiful.The teal colour is vibrant, the box is well made, no flaws.Nice velvety black cloth on the inside bottom and also on the inside of the cover.The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because the illustration on the cover is just a glued piece of paper and the box isn't varnished. There is a light chemical smell (paint or tincture), which I'm having an allergic reaction to.So I decided to put a light coat of matte medium on it to help reduce that smell and also to protect the box.If you do this, I don't suggest putting matte medium on the illustration because it will buckle for sure!I thought I would put a piece of self-adhesive laminating sheet on it but I think the glossiness will ruin the look and the glare will make it difficult to clearly see that beautiful peacock illuistration.My first coat of matte medium is dry and I can already notice a good improvement on the chemical smell.In conclusion, I LOVE that small box!I'll just be careful not to damage the illustration I guess...

Purchased this as a gift for a friend who is a turtle lover. It was a hit. Great quality for the money. Really pretty and well made and just the right size to keep trinkets or a favorite piece of jewelry.

It's okay. It's for a gift and I have no time to reorder something else, otherwise I may have returned it. The wood isn't painted very nicely on the sides, and it's actually a bit slivered on an edge, a bit rough to hold. The picture ok the top is nice. It's also a lot smaller than I'd imagined.
