Works but does not actually fit in the JBK 45 rimless tank. Takes a lot of work to get it dialed in tend to overflow very fast even on lowest setting.

I have been through 3 skimmers for my JBJ45 tank in less than a year. All 3 have had massive micro bubble leakage and very hard to break in to where they skim consistently and efficiently. After some weeks, they do seem to settle down and work OK. I have had the mounting bracket break and the main bubble tube housing crack. I see on my last one that they have made a few minor modifications, but the micro bubble issue persists. The leak from both the joint between the pump and the main chamber as well as excessive bubbles in the overflow. The sponge on the overflow pipe does not trap or eliminate the micro bubbles, so I finally diverted that flow into another chamber, so the bubbles have longer to dissipate before then get to the return pump and into the display portion of the tank. Too bad that it is the only skimmer that will it this tank without major modifications, because the tank is quite nice, but this skimmer is not a winner.

A few adjustment to dial in at set up,after that works great on my JBJ 45 gallon.
