This thing is loud! The range is beautiful and you get a rich array of sound considering the size of this speaker. The battery life is insane and I love that I can charge my phone from my speaker in a pinch. The Bluetooth range is adequate and you can reasonably hear the speaker outside of 20 feet. It weighs around 2lbs so it adds a little bit of weight to your pack if you’re mobile, that’s equivalent to about 32oz of water which can be super valuable depending on the temperature and terrain, but this speaker packs a big punch in those 2lbs. She definitely punches above her weight class! I personally choose to carry a little less water (52oz instead of 132oz) so that I can comfortably carry the speaker. Yes I sacrifice about 80oz of water to carry the 2lb speaker but that’s another 8lbs haha I’ll take the tunes instead!

The speaker is powerful and has the same sound as my larger JBL speaker, however for the price it’s disappointing that a charger iwasn’t included.

Awesome product by JBL. Rugged, easy to use, powerful and robust. By default, the mid frequencies are a little aggressive and unbalanced against the highs, but with the app, you can control this and adjust to your preferences. Surprising low end for such a compact speaker. Got this to use in the bathroom, so love the waterproof aspect. I feel this plays a significant role in the mild high frequencies (but can be adjusted).No distortion at higher volumes.Highly recommend if you need a rugged portable and loud speaker.

I really like Jbl... but they dropped the ball on this one. They definitely improved the mid and highs but the bass noticeably really distorts after 50% volume. It makes the overall volume sound muffled. Sorry Jbl, but I must return this one.
