Replacement For CHEVY 1965-1985 BIG BLOCK 366-396-427-545-502 with HEI (male tower) distributor. The Black spark plug boots are high temp spark plug boots that can withstand 50 degrees more heat than a standard spark plug boot.
These wires will NOT work on a vehicle with a points style (old style/female) distributor cap. These wires are already factory assembled for these engine sizes so you DO NOT cut and crimp on the distributor ends

These plug wires are very well built and a the special part is that they say 8mm but they are actually 8.5 and that's great with me. They fit my BBC with perfection and clear the headers and don't need heat boots on them. 5 stars given

The spark plug boots are a sloppy, loose fit on the plugs. The connection from the wire to the metal spark plug terminal is substandard and poor. I was unable to use these wires. I assume they are able to conduct electricity but I don’t know that for sure.
