I installed this on my JD gt 245 and to my chagrin it did not fix my problem. It wound up being a dirty loose connector on the wires that went back to the switch on the transaxle that lets the system know that you are depressing the reverse pedal. Anyway, it was very cheap and it worked. Get a tube of dielectric grease and coat all the connectors on your mower like I did and save hours of tracking down corroded connectors! I spent 20 minutes doing this and I have no more issues.

Easy install to replace a broken switch on a JD 3039r. Works perfectly but is noticeably stiffer than the stock switch. I make sure to press down on the switch body when pulling up on the knob as a bit of insurance.
