After installing I noticed the seat goes down on its own without me pulling the lever. What is the purpose of the lever if doesn’t work!!!!

It is easy to assemble, the only parts you might need tools for are the nuts for wheels(i used a 14mm socket, no wrench). Mind you this is not a luxury stool(it is cheaply priced for a reason). The only true concern I have with it is that it does not have a more stable means of securing the seat to the central strut/bar. It does not screw or bolt on, it simply pops onto the top over the button for the cylinder control.

Colors not as advertised. Came with yellow seat and black base, not a huge deal since this is Jegs company colors. Biggest pain is that the logo on the seat is not cured. It leaves a mark on your pants and then all over the other parts on the cushion so it looks pretty dirty and is sticky. Base flexes pretty substantially with a person on the seat, especial if it gets hung up.
