I bought it to make coasters using resin. If you are going to use it/ them with resin, it could be hard to unmold the resin once it has harden. Overall the product is not bad but It could be better.

I purchased the square one first as I was skeptical as to how it would work being make of hard plastic. I was plesantly surprised it worked well. So I decided to order the hexagon. Sadly, it's unusable. Taking all the same steps I did using the square mold, then trying several other times, I was unable to get a coaster that would come out of the mold without me having to break it in pieces. No jelly or other lubricant was able to get it to slide out. Really disapointed cause the other mold worked well.

good shape, easy to use. Wish they didn't glue the label on the inside of the mold with really tough glue

Bought four of these to make coasters and although I used mold release, the cast pieces have proven impossible to remove. Buy at your own risk!!

Plastic Resin used to make coaster warped the plastic mold. I figured this mold was built for that and was disappointed to find that it cannot take the heat generated. When I say warped I mean that the mold now has warped markings so every time I make a coaster with this mold there will be markings on the bottom of the coasters and on the sides. Despite these markings, the integrity of the coaster's shape was maintained. Not worth the price and I highly recommend silicon molds.
