This type of connector is my go-to solution for connecting high-amp DC loads and supplies. I use them for winches, DC air compressors, and even connecting modules of various fabricated machines. All of my trucks and tractors are fitted with connectors like this at the front and back. With a proper hydraulic press and die or very large manual crimper, the included terminals are easily installed on the proper gauge of wire. Although, I do use crimping methods from time to time, I prefer using a propane torch and soldering the wires into the terminals. (Heat terminal with torch, melt solder into terminal, push wire into solder while still heating). Once the terminals are affixed to the wire, they easily press into the connector housing, which locks them in place with a metal tab. The terminals can be removed if you accidentally mess up the polarity. This particular kit is good for bulkhead mounting applications.

I've built two portable power stations and needed these to connect my batteries to the inverter.The system is in 3 sections and I run a 5 ft cord from the batteries to my Inverter. These keep things dry without having to run the power cables through the box. Good to go.Shipped and arrived quickly.

I really like these quick connects. I'd never seen these before, and I wish I'd found them a long time ago. I recently used them to connect 1/0 cables between my battery and a battery bank I keep on my trailer to run my tools. I also have a set between my Winch and the battery so I can easily unplug it when it's not in use, or connect another set of leads to jump start other vehicles. They work really well and are a lot easier than unscrewing ring terminals like I was doing before. Now I can easily disconnect my trailer, which is much more convenient. The face-mounted versions look clean when mounted, just be careful when you are cutting the hole.5/5 stars, exactly as advertised and much easier than other options.
