This jack lifted my 2 story house enough to repair foundation damage caused by a 7.1 earthquake in 2018 here in AK. It is a serious heavy duty tool, and at an amazing price point. I would definitely recommend these jacks to anyone that needs to do some serious lifting, I will likely buy some of their smaller rated jacks in the future, as their quality value far surpasses their price point. I would definitely recommend these to anyone in the market for a mechanical jack.

Looked for a jack that could hold up safely to some very large loads for an amateur fix to a foundation. We are lifting a very large amount of weight, and I bought 10 of these to operate as a deeply redundant system to lift and level of structure safely. They are exactly what I wanted for their ability to safely left large loads.Piston Jacks Can fail on your load, causing the structure to drop dramatically or putting incredible amounts of weight on the other Jack’s suddenly, which can cause what’s called a cascade failure. Mechanical jacks are the answer, because they cannot spontaneously fail and less the metal itself fails. However most mechanical jacks are prohibitively expensive. Can fail under load, causing the structure to drop dramatically or putting incredible amounts of weight on the other Jack’s suddenly, which can cause let’s call the cascade failure. Mechanical jacks are the answer, because they cannot spontaneously fail and less the metal itself fails. However most mechanical jacks are prohibitively expensive. These are incredibly heavy, Chinese mean, mechanical jacks. Well I would prefer to buy American made product, because I trust the steel more, or even Canadian, these turned out to be a good buy. We’re going to put them through heavy use throughout the summer, i’ll update this review if there’s any more to add. But so far we’ve been real pleased

The only problem I had was not buying this sooner. It is a superb design and in conjunction with a 6x6 wood beam and some thick steel plates, it instills confidence and provides impressive lift as opposed to ceiling jacks which instill fear and regret from lost money on inferior strength and stability. I recommend buying this without the bar, then buying the lengths of bar you need at a steel shop keeping in mind 3 feet is the max length they designed with the jack.

Great when you need a 20T jack. These things are heavy duty and great for their intended purpose.

jack performed well , however I do not like the swivel head. I placed an I beam on top to lift a customers home and had difficulty keeping it on the jack until contacting the house. this makes it difficult to get the lifting beam plumb. I plan to place a large washer under the head to remedy this.

I really like this as a jack stand for a car. Unlike most jack stands, you can raise this up to hold the load AFTER you already have the car in the air. I like to have a set of jacks stands under the front and rear subframes. These are for the sides, at the factory lift points when using a lift. I bought the 20T version, so I would have ~18" of clearance under the car. Also, I wanted the largest diameter base possible. I don't crawl under anything without a redundant backup, and the failure mode I'm most concerned about is lateral shift. Why would anyone spend $230 for a set of jack stands? When used for this purpose, I can slowly engage the jacking points against the hollow subframe of a C5 corvette, without dropping the car onto a pair of jackstands. Much better for the car than the hockeypuck method. With just my 18" breaker bar, its very easy to raise or lower the car slightly in this manner (just do it evenly, don't twist the frame).
