Choke worked good for about a week. Secondary air flaps not opening and closing properly. Obviously chinese made . Better off with 2 bbl carb.

what i liked Carb starts , adjusts works wellWhat i did not like is support long delay to get phone call returned had fuel leak Fuel inlet crushed nylon washer and had a float stuck no solutions about 5 calls to get there . Still working on getting it perfect so far very superior to all aftermarket carbs i tired and spent money on paying to get them rebuilt and dialed in right out of the box was better.

Carburetor was so rich it ran half the power as a stock carburetor. The engine dyno shop had a carburetor that ran perfect. The engine made 472 hp and 473 foot pounds of torque. Don’t know why this carburetor would not run out of the box? The engine shop knows how to set up carburetors, and it would not adjust out.

Accelerator pump plunger shaft is corroded and pitted. looks like they pulled it out of a rust bucket. Also, one of the idle mixture needles is pitted.I installed the carb. The truck runs but will not respond to any mixture adjustments AT ALL.

I've owned this for 3 months and driven maybe 10 times. Well plug on the front is leaking which means the internal plugs are leaking also causing hard starts. These carbs have been around for decades you would think jet could take the time and tap the plugs permently. Junk

I had this carburetor professionally installed and it's terrific. Idles perfect, runs perfect. My old Quadrajet would never start the car easily when already warm. This carburetor works perfect - when engine is warm or cold - just turn the key and it starts instantly. I've purchased rebuilt Quadrajets from other rebuilders before only to be dissapointed - this carburetor is perfect ! Installed in 1971 Chevy Nova SS 350

Installed this on a SBC 350 cid / 340 h.p. in my ( original owner ) 1985 Olds Cutlass Supreme. Fired right up, and solved the problems of my old q-jet. Very smooth idle and smooth transition when back 2 barrels open. Except for setting up the idle, no other adjustments were needed.

i bought because i was tired of messing with the rebuilds and parts can only last so long. so o wanted to buy a good one. had to tune some, idle wasnt the greatest but i figured out why. there were passages on the outside edge that were sealed with lead. knocked then out and idles smooth.guess i shoulda went with a stage one but i figured i needed a stage two with the mods i had on the engine.

bought this as a replacement/ upgrade from my original Q-jet in my 69 GTO. bolts right on, had to reroute my fuel line a little. was really frustrated at first because my car wouldn't start..... until I followed the initial set up instructions that were included with the carb......looks great, sounds great and runs fantastic
