This basket & dishes are pretty and will be loved by kids. They're ceramic so younger kids would need supervision. The basket doesn't have compartments for storage so you have to wrap but I'm using Styrofoam to make dividers to avoid breaking the pieces. The tablecloth & napkins add a nice touch.

I purchased this for my Granddaughter's 4th birthday. I couldn't be happier with it. Some reviewers didn't care for the basket not being actual wicker. I didn't find that to be a detriment. It looks like wicker but it's actually a plastic material. It'll be much easier to clean. The teapot & lid are so cute. Even though the set is porcelain it isn't super fragile. The entire set is really nice.

Bought this for my 8 yr. old granddaughter - she had been asking for a tea set - so we searched on Amazon & decided on this one - the others were plastic & cheap looking not pretty or sturdy - The Jewelkeeper Porcelain Tea Set is sooo nice it comes in a pink basket which is sturdy not flimsy & it's lined !! also has a place for the napkins, tablecloth & dishes - the forks & spoons are not plastic - when she's not playing with it I gave her a pretty cloth/towel to wrap the tea pot , creamer & cups in so they don't bang together when carrying it around - worth the money =
