I’m sure the Bracelet Mate works well for a lot of women. The concept makes sense. I have an extreme amount of clumsiness with my hands and I have only used once.

Putting on a bracelet, by yourself, can be impossible!! This simple little gadget allows me to grasp one side and hold it so I can use the clasp on the other side. Brilliant!!

It's so frustrating when you're running late and you have to stop and fool around trying to get your favorite bracelet fastened! Whether it's a lobster claw, a hook, a slide or any other crazy-making fastener, this tool solves the problem! Grasp one end of your bracelet with the tool, place it against your wrist, then hold the handle comfortably with your fingers. With that end of your bracelet secured in place, use your free hand to hook up the other end. It's so much easier to do without the constant slipping and sliding off your wrist.

I had a bracelet assist tool in the past, but misplaced it during my last move. Such a simple thing, but without it I find putting on bracelets maddening -- I've even been late getting places just because I couldn't get my bracelets closed! I mostly go without wearing any. I've been stubborn about purchasing a new one because my original one was ornate and I kept hoping I'd find it, or if I replaced it I wanted one just like it. Yesterday I was browsing and started looking at what they had. Most of them were really thin, thinner than a pen, which I felt would be harder to get a grip on. This one appeared nice and solid, albeit plain, and the price was more than reasonable, so I gave in and bought it. It does the job just like my old one. It's just not fancy. So I'll keep it in my jewelry case with my bracelets and not lose it like I lost the other one. I really shouldn't say it's not "gift-worthy" -- you can gift me practical gifts anytime. I guess if the gift is a special occasion, make this "Gift #1" and a nice bracelet "Gift #2"!

Who invented floppy chains and lobster claws as a way to attach a bracelet? Fie on you. So this little tool allows you to put on the bracelet without doing some kind of contorted hand moves and eyeballing a moving target of a chain link.

Super simple tool, gets the job done. It’s basically just an alligator clip fixed onto a wooden handle, but it’s not like it needs to be fancy. Clips onto the bracelet and allows me to hold it in place while I clasp it without trying to bend my wrist and fingers in awkward positions.
