No variety. 9 stones, all the same cut. Most of them are scratched. It looks like someone dropped them in some gravel and stepped on them.

I wouldn't call this amethyst that you could make jewelry out of. Out of a packet of four stones, three were brown, not purple - and these were a muddy brown - so you wouldn't even want to use them as smoky topaz. The fourth stone was purple. The three brown stones were rectangular cut, but flat on both sides. There was no culet. The clarity was poor. The purple amethyst transparency was acceptable.On the plus side, the carat weight of the packet was as described. None of the stones showed cracks or chips visible to the naked eye.Buyers, keep in mind that the photos shown by the vendor is not necessarily representative of the items that you will receive in terms of quality.
