These were about what I expected for the price. However, I needed a bunch of them to teach a group of elementary to middle school kids to roll sushi. Knowing that half of them would be tossed in the trash and the other half was going to end up in the back of their mom's junk drawer, it was a non-issue for me. We did have a few that didn't survive the night but if you're looking for something cheap and disposable these are great.

I use tons of sushi mats and these are the worst quality I’ve ever received. The bamboo is splintering on every mat I received and some have the cotton string unraveled straight out of the package. And there is SO MUCH plastic packaging. Spend a few dollars more and get better mats.

It'd be pretty hard to make a bad sushi mat... so I love these for their price. I bought these over a year ago and am only on to my second one. The only time I didn't use saran wrap on top, it was very hard to clean the sauces and stuff and that is what happened to the first one. Call me culturally inappropriate, but I think saran wrap is the way. not only does it make cleaning the mat significantly easier it leaves you with a wrap to bring your roll to work. I think ill be able to pass a few of these on to my kids after I'm gone. great value!
