If you just need basic memory locks then these are ok. The finish are average and somewhat crude (to be fair, not dull as on one review). The inside of these lock are rough and I’m afraid to ruin my new Yamaha cymbal stand finishes, you might be able to smooth them out by filing if you’re handy?!

I purchased these for a used drum kit and they are pretty close to a fit. I had to modify them slightly, but they make set up much quicker and easier.

I'll be returning these, they are horrible. As the headline says, they are not chromed, they are a dull, corroded-looking cheap gray metal with no finish.
