Great power supply. Be mindful that most of the 9v dc outputs have a max current of 80 mA; some digital pedals may require 100mA and up (most Strymon pedals recommend a min of 200mA). The 2 adjustable voltage outputs have a max current of 200 mA so it's not really an issue. The four 18v outputs are also a big plus. Hard to find such a large variety of outputs in one power supply. Would definitely recommend.

The best power supply for musical effects pedals to datethe number of 18V outputs is great, and more than an other pedalThere are more and more pedals that use this higher voltage nowthe adjustable voltage is also very usefulWell made and can fit into rack mount areasVery quiet and well made

Like many other guitar pedal enthusiast, I needed something that would power all of my pedals, and have room for more. I considered power supplies like the Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2 Plus ($169) and many others, but I couldn't find what I wanted. I needed something that could power more than 8 pedals, had different voltage options, and isolated outputs. The descriptions of the MC403 did not give very many details, but this is by far the best power supply that I've come across.Pros:Can power 16 pedals depending of total power consumption.Isolated outputs which get rid of any humming caused by power.More outlets for pedal board expansion.Powers line 6 DL 4 and Digitech Whammy with ease which are both 9VAC.Adjustable DC Outputs.8 9VDC outputs for standard pedals4 18VDC outputs for wahs and other things.Packaging included mounting brackets.Unit is compact, silent, and definitely made for gigging or tours. Can be used in Europe.Came with cables for supplying power to the pedals.Cons:The unit is a little heavy, and somewhat long.Won't fit under smaller pedal boards. It was a pain to mount under a pedaltrain pro since the pedaltrain will have to be raised. Most of the power cables included are way to long, but replacement cables are easy to find, and cheap. The price is kinda high, but then again you're paying for both quality and quantity.Overall I am really happy with the power supply, and I would definitely buy another one if I needed to. There are several great power supplies out there, but this one has everything I required and wanted.

I've owned a Dunlop DC Brick, a Voodoo Labs PP2, and now one of these. This one definitely takes the cake. So many options and easy to mount under your board. Just a little more than the Voodoo Labs, yet you get so much more. Comes with several different lengths of each voltage and mounting kit. I've been using mine for several months now, I will definitely never go back to the Voodoo Labs.

I am very pleased with the MC-403 power supply. This unit is able to simultaneously power my Line6 M13 (from a single 9vac outlet!), my 15vdc Radial ToneBone Trimode, and another half dozen 9vdc and 18vdc effects and true bypass loopers without any difficulties. It comes with a fairly complete selection of power cords in different lengths. Really, this unit does it all, and I couldn't be happier with it. Previously I needed at least two separate power supplies to handle both the 9vac and 15vdc effects, but now I can run everything from the MC-403. A note for Line6 M9/M13 users: although the unit says its 9vac outlets are "only" rated at 800 mA, the reality is they are seriously underrated. I am running my M13 from just a single 9vac outlet and it runs fine without any difficulties. Finally, if you plan on using this unit with a PedalTrain Pro or similar, be sure to also buy some longer rubber feet, like the Penn-Elcom F1691 Rubber Cabinet Foot (1" dia. X 1" height). You need the extra clearance to make the MC-403 fit under the PedalTrain Pro.

For roughly $30 more than the Voo Doo Lab Pedal Power 2(which I also have and think is great) the CAE MC-403 is by far superior. I plan on buying another very soon. It's very well designed, the fact that you can mount it on a pedalboard or in rack is brilliant. There's my two cents. :-)

I'm running a pretty big pedal board with 10 DC (all 9 volts) and 2 AC powered pedals (line6 M9 and Digitech Whammy Wah) and this does the job flawlessly. Absolutely no noise or interference. It replaced my Voodoo Labs AC power and Pedal Power II. This unit is very well designed and well built. The information I found on line was a little sketchy and careful inspection of the pics online weren't consistent. I took a chance on buying this hoping it would power everything I needed and luckily it worked out.
