This is for ongoing network rack project. The shelf is well made and and secured well on the small rack i am building. The sheet metal is not sure thick, but thick enough for what it needs to be. It is secured to the rack on all four ends so you can put larger equipment on it. Putting it all together was a bit cumbersome in the beginning, but I studied the instructions and in the end it is mounted just fine. The finish is powder coated and there you get all plus a few extras as far as hardware is concerned.
