This review is for a 19" wide x 14" deep 4U Wall Mount Network Rack. (pictured with some equipment installed, review is only for the rack itself).I got this to hold my homelab router, switch and firewall. I specifically wanted a smaller rack that would hold 19" equipment but not take a lot of space in my home closet.I didn't wall mount it, but it would be easy enough to do. Instead I added rubber feet to the bottom (not included).I added a shelf for my router (shown) until I get a rackmount replacement. Also shown are a Mikrotik router and a passthrough patch panel. The rack did it's job well and I've had no problem with repeated screw insertion and removal.

Quality and price is decent in my opinion. Easy to mount and holds my lighter equipment just fine. Does what it is supposed to do and has plenty of room for any small office or home to be able to hold the essentials for a small wall mount rack.

I'm putting this up in my basement to hold a patch panel router and ethernet switch and it is the perfect size for that. It was incredibly easy to install with the instructions given and I just bolting it to the wall like you can see in the photo. My house is still under construction so obviously there's some wire management to do but the server rack has been a great small one to hold the three devices I need.

This 4U Wall Mount Rack is incredibly basic but gets the job done. The material is a little thin compared to others on the market but not so thin that I'm worried about it not holding anything. This is designed for smaller equipment, no server blades are going in this bad boy, but it's good for a patch panel and small network switch. Pricing is pretty normal, so you might be able to get something a little nicer for the price, but this definitely gets the job done!

Even though it is folded up for shipping, this rack unfolded, worked great, and was plenty sturdy once equipment was installed in the face of it. I was able to fasten it to a cinder block wall with a few tapcon screws. The melting points on the face of the rack are different than some others I have seen, but this rack included enough screws to completely fill the front with equipment.A quick tip: I also added a rack mounted shelf at the top so I have room to sit equipment that doesn't necessarily amount in a rack such as my modem and NAS server. Overall, I'm very happy with the durability of this rack.

I've installed many wall/full standing racks over my 30 years in I.T. This one was prefect for my application. I would definitely upgrade the wall mount screws it comes with to longer, a size bigger, and use fender washers. The rack metal is steel, though thinner than others I have used and I would put only one "heavy" (server) item in this, and on the bottom, to lower stress on the top mount points. The actual front rack rails are removable, so you could upgrade just the rails to 6U or 8U if you have only light weight items or if needed later on.

You can really smack yourself, or someone else with the folding sides on this thing. The price is low, so you are definitely getting a very simple, lower cost solution if you choose to install this. This will not support heavy switches or battery backups. Definitely no very heavy network devices. Maybe a single firewall with patch panel and shelf. This will work well for lighter network devices, like patch panels though. Maybe a lighter switch or firewall, if you have the rack mounted properly into the wall. With a plywood backer board. The overall build quality on this is low, as it is a cheaper network rack option. But this can take care of a small home or very small office network if you are installing it correctly. The "real" network rack options are at least double the cost of this rack typically. That cost does go into better materials that make a sturdier and safer overall network closet in the end.Something like this is mainly used in a smaller office network that is spread out. This would be installed in an area that could not fit the full main network rack. Like a janitor closet, or maintenance room. Then a line would be run back to the main closet. Usually to modernize and extend an existing network or feature on the network. The main network closet would be setup with a more professional network rack within 300 feet of the second or third extension racks. There are several ways to setup and use this network equipment, just be careful with the weight limits. You ideally do not want to be anywhere close to the weight limit of your network racks.
