It certainly does work; however, it comes with the caveat of needing somewhere for its wall wort power supply to be plugged in (its pretty big), and a terrible radio range (not sure if theres something wrong with mine's antenna or if they are all like this). I could only get it to connect to the zigbee network when it was within about 6 feet (Line of sight only) to a repeater/controller. When it was less than 10 feet from the primary controller and one wall between.... nothing at all. Concerns me about its reliability to respond when I need it to, but... it was inexpensive comparatively, and easy enough to install. I don't regret buying this one, but its pretty "meh" because of its antenna issue and needing basically its own repeater very near it.

⭐☆☆☆☆ – Won’t Pair or Connect – UselessI had high hopes for the Jinvoo Zigbee Water Valve, but it turned out to be a complete waste of time and money. Despite following the instructions carefully, this device refuses to pair or connect with my Zigbee hub. I tried multiple troubleshooting steps, including resetting it several times, moving it closer to the hub, and even attempting to connect it with different apps—nothing worked. The manual provides little to no useful information. If a smart device won’t even connect, it’s completely useless. I highly do not recommend this product. Save yourself the frustration and look for a more reliable alternative!

This installed easily, and paired up with Home Assistant without issue. It gets recognized as a "switch," which I suppose it sort of is. Anyway, that's all I need is "on/off" functionality.

This device deserves better reviews than what it's getting. It may not clamp attach perfectly right out of the box, but have an imagination. I've ordered 10 of these, had a problem with the gearbox on one of them but other than that, these things rock. They are strong and powerful. I'm not using them for their intended purpose, I use them for something else modified so I can't tell you how they work on a water valve. I've just seen a number of reviews complaining about it not fitting their water pipe, why I say have an imagination and make it fit... it's very doable. They have proven so far to be dependable staying online not dropping off like some Zigbee devices do. Sometimes though the device will report open or closed when it's not so testing the device if it's on or off doesn't prove reliable at times, but found a workaround for that.

Valve actuator works, but the item I received was used with some of the screw heads stripped out. Due to the available time I had to get it installed I made it work, but I am not happy at receiving a used and damaged product. I also had to modify the mounting bracket by shortening the mounting tabs to make it fit for the valve I used (a 3/4” solder-in ball valve from Home Depot, so a fairly standard and common valve). It’s functional but you can see the bracket flex and bend during operation. It’s probably okay for occasional or interim emergency automated use (I.e. it’s better than nothing), but I would not consider it a long term failsafe solution. I’ll continue to look for a better solution while using this in the meantime. Otherwise it connected easily to my SmartThings hub and actuated quickly when activated. I probably would have given it three or even four stars (considering the low price) had I not received a used and damaged unit.

You can't beat this. An inexpensive Zigbee water shutoff valve that installs pretty easily and works with Home Assistant out of the box. Save yourself the hassle of looking at the documentation - to put the device into pairing mode just press and hold the power button on the top until it starts flashing. Your Zigbee hub should pick it up if it's in pairing mode as well.Home Assistant sees this as a "TS011F" by "_TZ3000_tvuarksa" as a switch device. I've configured all of the water sensors in my townhouse to trigger an action to turn the switch off if any of them report moisture. It works perfectly, with enough torque to turn the valve on and off without the motor straining. The only thing I would have liked to have seen would be a longer power cord.

This device is total and absolute junk. The moubtibg mechanism is completely incapable of keepibg it installed as it slips continously. The actuator is extremely weak. If you have a valve with any amount of resistance it will not be able to fully close or open it. Buy an Econet Bulldog actuator and save yourself the wasted time. You'll be happy you did.

Got the Zigbee version. Device is labeled as model SM-AZ713Paired it with a SONOFF Zigbee Bridge Pro Hub (ZB Bridge-P) flashed with Tasmota. Using it on Home Assistant via Zigbee2MQTT.Comes up as UseeLink SM-AZ713Enabled "Permit join" in Zigbee2MQTT. Plugged the water valve into power, held the power button until the blue LED started blinking. Zigbee2MQTT picked it up/added it right away. No need to install the Smart Life mobile app!Referenced the "Friendly name" (from Zigbee2MQTT) as the Device, for automations.
