It works and fits my sb-500 speedlight. You do need a diffuser otherwise the flash is too strong or harsh. This softens the face for a portrait shot a little if you point it up. Good price too.

This item is very loose for NIKON SPEEDLIGHT SB-500. Find something that is better fit for your speedlight.

It works fine and does the job, it's just a diffuser. But it slides on and off the flash depending only on friction without any clip to hold it on. Both the device and the flash are smooth plastic so I expect that I'll lose it quickly when using it unless I use a piece of tape to hold it on.

This review is for the JJC FC-SB500 Flash Diffuser for the NIKON SPEEDLIGHT SB-500. Received it in a not-fancy zip-loc type poly-bag. Pressed the diffuser on to my SB-500 and it fit nice and snug. I haven't gone out jumping around with it yet but it seems fine so far. I've read other reviews that state the fit was loose and the diffuser falls off. As of right now the diffuser falling off doesn't seem likely but I guess it's possible over time when the plastic may stretch out. The price is reasonable and it does the job of diffusing the flash.

La calidad del producto es buena, el único detalle es que el difusor se resbala y termina por caer con mucha facilidad.Al punto que lo tuve que fijar con cinta adhesiva eléctrica.

simple, yet fits fine. this fits snug enough not to fall off of my SB500 flash - as others have reported. its not super tight and will fall off if you hit it on something. I puts a small strip of black electrical tape on the flash and that made it a bit tighter of a fit. for the price it is good.

Doesn't fit exactly, so I folded a piece of paper to keep it snug. Works just fine with modification.
