I purchased this because of the air tag chamber and I was going to buy a grip anyway. However, this grip is about a centimeter too short to be perfectly comfortable. Several others nailed the comfort, but have no support for devices like the AirTag, so this is really the compromise we have to make.If they made this grip slightly larger, more ergonomic in shape, and more grippy, it would dominate the ZF Market even at 2 to 3x the price.

The Nikon Zf has a retro-inspired look reminiscent of the Nikon FM 2, one of best film cameras every developed and manufactured by any camera maker. The ZF features much of Nikon’s latest mirrorless technology but the design of the body lacks a large and comfortable grip, which has been a mainstay of Nikon’s DSLR and mirrorless cameras. The JJC Solid Metal Hand Grip L Bracket is a very useful, and very well made, accessory for the Zf, adding a grip and, as an added bonus, a Airtag holder.Like other JJC accessories, the handgrip is well made and includes anti-slip pads and a Arca Swiss quick release plate, 1/4"-20 tripod hole and a hand strap hole. The Arca Swiss quick release plate makes it quick and easy to mount the Zf on a tripod, and the battery compartment, memory card slots are easy to access with the grip on the camera. While the Zf looks great, especially to anyone who once owned the classic Nikon FM 2, the lack of a grip makes it harder to use, especially with big lenses. The JJC grip is unobtrusive but an important accessory to have.Highly recommended!

Works well, but I actually use a different silicone covered brand.

I have been using my Nikon ZF with the Small Rig grip accessory since I got the camera. I find a grip add-on is a necessity for the ZF if you shoot with any heavy lenses. I decided to try this JJC grip for comparison. The JJC grip is nicely made and comes with a nifty little tool for screwing the grip onto the camera body. The tool is stored magnetically. If you did lose the tool you could always use a coin or screwdriver. With the grip attached I have a much more confident hold of the Zf, so it does what it is supposed to do. It's really in the details where I think it falls a little short.Pros- well built- includes magnetically stored tool for screwing mount onto camera- allows battery/memory card access without removal- Arca Swiss quick release plate attaches easily to compatible tripodsCons- the surface of the grip is a little slippery, especially as compared with the Small Rig which has a rubbery feel- the grip does not protrude as far as the Small Rig (the 4th photo is a top view of this grip and the 5th photo is the Small Rig grip, which is noticeably larger)Note, I did not test the tripod compatibility as I don't have an Arca Swiss quick release tripod.
