These bulbs are being used for deck lights. I would say they are not quite as bright as the previous 7 watt incandescent bulbs. For the most part they work fine. But as previous reviewers have said, you can expect a few bulbs to not work properly. I ended up with 4 bulbs that were very dim (regardless of the orientation). Luckily I had enough working bulbs for what I needed. Hopefully they last, otherwise I'll be looking for a different bulb.

These are good value for the price but they are extremely dim. Almost useless. Spend the extra few bucks for better ones.

I tried these in Malibu landscape lighting, and they worked poorly. Blue color, and they seemed half as bright as advertised. I've read that perhaps from this style of LED I should have expected that with a 12v landscape system. So, I'm not digging on these (maybe they work great in cars?), but I would NOT recommend them for landscape lighting.
