It looks great and is strong, but the screws are not of good quality and the safety nuts that it comes with do not allow you to adjust it all the way, I had to change them to achieve this.

The quality is good and the lock does its job well. Unfortunately I have the factory front facing camera and it looks like it would interfere with the key

Product shouldn’t be listed for this vehicle as it’s impossible to get the hardware on the screw, the keys a very long and it feels like you’re about to break the key when you turn it without a lot of pressure. Just make sure you do you’re research on what is compatible with you’re vehicle.

2024 Willys 4XE: the hardest part of the install is getting the lower front grill clips to disengage without feeling like you’re going to break the plastic grill. Otherwise, takes about 10 minutes. Definitely not as secure as a Bolt brand, but you don’t need to cut the grill for key access for this (Bolt you do).My hood closes absolutely no problem after install.This isn’t going to stop an extra motivated Theif or vandal, but it will give a casual one a moment of pause once they see it. Also wish it was a little more visible. As an FYI: this is held on with two torq screws, not rivets. So again, not as secure as the Bolt but half the price.

Attempted install of this twice; after the first fail, I was going to return this item but I figured I'd try it a second time before doing so and to my surprise the latch actually caught.-Pros;*This seems to be the only non-electronic lock that doesn't require a bolt gun or anything extra.*A hood lock is important for a daily driver; by nature of what it is, if you can get it to work its valid.-Cons:*No directions in box;*Video misleading, doesn't include all parts/latch guard and order of installationFor anyone thinking of getting this; it does work - mostly- if installed properly.*Once grill cover assembly is removed from the order of closest to engine bay to farthest is*Lock guard (ensure correct orientation, should not jut out/should line up with bar)*The actual lock itself*Arms that were there pre-installThis way the latch SHOULD catch the hook with some down-force applied if spring is still installed. Its a pain to unlock and requires some finesse, but is probably more frustrating to try to open without a key and steal the contents within.I hope this helps someone.

This lock works great on 2023 Gladiator.... but make sure to use the long key and not the short..... you will crack your grille.
