It was the right belt for the mower. But I believe it was new old stock that was folded up to long. It lasted about 45 minutes and threw it self off the pulleys. It was flopping so bad because of being folded up so long. I ordered another one and had it on for about 90 minutes and did the same thing and when they come off it tears up the belt and you can’t use them again. I went my local JD dealer got a new one for a few bucks more and have used it all most 5 hours and no problem. You might want to look somewhere else.

Can not vouch for quality just yet, as I always buy these one ahead of needing it, so when the current belt breaks, I don't loose any time replacing it and getting back to mowing, but I am confident that this is a legit Deere belt for my little 316. MAN I love that ol' mower!

Belts are always perfect fit. Wear is usually good. Cheap parts are not always the best, so why mess around.
