The lug bolts on our old John Deere tractor loosened, allowing the wheel rim to move, and ultimately destroying it, by enlarging the holes. An expensive lesson learned for us: check the lug bolts regularly (at least every 10 hours of use). 65 Ft Lb torque is what we discovered. We paid almost $50 for seven of these, but, these bolts are upwards of $20 each with some vendors, and our local dealer would have to order them, so we are grateful to this vendor for having the right part at a much more palatable price. We found several third-party bolts that claimed to be the right part, but did not have the taper at the tip, so we avoided them.
