Connectors were difficult to install on both the tank and the outboard motor but once achieved there was no leakage of gas when primed.

What another Chinese p.o.s. this is not genuine evinrude. The connectors will go on to my gas tanks, but when you squeeze the bulb, nothing happens. Kinda like my last girlfriend. I had to use the primer bulb, but put on my gas tank connector. My old one primer bulb was bad. This works now, but holy crap...alot of work. Initially wouldn't refund. Gave a mailing label to valencia, spain! Sent nasty message. Got instant refund, and a prepaid ups slip.

This is not labeled Bombardier on the packaging or the hose. Look at the top picture from the seller, you will clearly see the hose is labeled Bombardier Fuel Hose. Look at the bottom two pictures and you will see a different hose labeled as being EPA and SAE compliant. The hose I received has absolutely no markings what so ever. Don't know who OCEAN is but they aren't proud enough of their product to say where it's made.Look at the drawing, it shows the bulb close to the tank end. The hose I received has the bulb close to the engine end which is unacceptable for my application.Minor point but there weren't any zip ties either.I gave it 2 stars as it doesn't LOOK bad but my guess is this is made from substandard materials and will fail in short order. This is going back today.

I bought this for a customer who brought me his boat, and I'm doing all the maintenance on it. I found that the fuel line was cracked. When I looked on Amazon this was the only boats fuel line I saw, and it had the hand pump thing on it and everything so I thought it was right. There were no other items on Amazon like this. Turns out that this hose has too small of an inner diameter to make it onto the fuel Outlet of the tank in the fuel Inlet of the motor. This is just a regular Johnson 150 motor. I really had to push it onto the fuel Outlet on the tank, but right now I'm trying to put it on the fuel Inlet of the boat and it just is way too small. Like I said, I didn't see any other sizes so I figured this is one of those things where it's one size and pretty much every boat has that same size. And obviously now that I see everything, that is wrong. I think that this hose is way way way too expensive. All together this should have been maybe $35. I should have just went to AutoZone and got a bunch of stock hose for $12, and I'm bought a hand pump thing myself and put it all on that could have spent $20. Now I am stuck with this modified $75 piece of trash that is going to go... Right into the trash as I go to AutoZone and get the correct stuff to put this on. Complete waste of money.

Very good hose as far as feeding fuel to the engine. The only issue I have is, after a couple of years the hose surface started to break down. It gets black dust/dirt on my hands and everything it touches. I tried washing the hose with soap and water, and then drying off and spraying with silicone. Didn't make any difference. Still does the same thing. Except for that, it is a great outboard motor fuel hose.
