Plays lovely, light weight, great for $100 (price I paid). Only issue is when I got it instead of a left handed pick guard, there was a right handed pick guard on it. That was a little annoying and I’m not sure how that issue arised. None the less, the sound is great when properly tuned and I’m enjoying it

The packaging was severely lacking. Came with a dent on top of the head, the strings were out of the nut, and played my E played funny the first day I got it. The sound seemed to have fixed itself. Probably due to too much tension in the strings.

We got this for our son's 11th birthday because he wanted to learn the guitar. He's strongly left-handed but we didn't want to fork over big bucks for a left-handed guitar in case he changed his mind. This guitar is perfect for beginners. We returned the first one (lacquer was cracking, likely due to the extremely cold temperature when shipping) but the second was fine. Easy to return through Amazon.

As a lefty, I have a hard time finding good guitars at a reasonable price.I havent had an acoustic in a few years actually but I just sold my Orange 50 watt rockerverb (was too loud to play while kids were napping) and decided to go back to an acoustic. I looked at a few different websites until I saw this johnson on amazon. I decided on the johnson because it was only like a hundred bucks and I figured it would buy me some time to decide on a real guitar. much to my surprise however, this guitar is awesome. It cam set up perfectly the action is sweet. not too high. no buzzing. Just the way you would expect a nice guitar at a boutique shop to play. the tone might not sound like a high end taylor or martin, but with some new elixir strings(made in usa), this guitar gets pretty close and for an unbelievably low price. I just cant stop playing it. thanks johnson

The guitar was exactly as advertised. It was also delivered very fast I haven't tried it. It was meant to be a gift but it looked good.

Good and cheap, only 70 bucks! it lasted me a long while and played well the whole time! I bought the guitar not knowing how to play and when I got it, I played it and loved the size of it and the way it sounded. It really was a blessing to get such a good deal on this guitar.
