I initially bought this for a kiddo that is wheelchair bound. When presented with non preferred activities, he would try and slide down his chair (or wheelchair) to avoid the activity. I wanted a chair that had the 3-prong harness to prevent the escape behaviors.This chair does just that! Not only is it beautiful to look at, but the craftsmanship is superior. All you have to do is attach the screw on the bottom of the chair and attach the rest of the harness to that piece.We have already had a few tantrums in this chair, and it has held up just fine! We were able to keep working versus spending time on managing the behavior.
