They are kind of thick for aqua socks, compared to what I am used to, but still very functional. I do like that the sole is a little thicker to protect from sharp rocks and things. The fit is pretty spot on - we ordered the 5-10 toddler size and they fit her just fine. They are easy for her to slip on and go. Construction is good, with everything being sewn and glued together solidly. We haven't got to get them in the water yet as it has been too cold, but I have every bit of confidence in that they will perform well and last the through the summer.

My 3 year old loves these shoes. He especially loves that he can easily put them on himself. They are versatile enough for him to wear on the playground or in the pool, with a hard, slip resistant sole. The pull lace provides flexibility for sizing and the materials seem well constructed, these seem sure to last through the summer and beyond. A nice offering for a good price.

These were a huge hit with my toddler (and husband) who loves all things Sonic. They were easy to slip on and stayed put, even with all the running around and splashing. He wore them at the beach and pool and they dried quickly after each use, with sand and dirt rinsing and falling right off. The design is super cute and the fit was just right, although it was on the bigger side. Definitely recommend if you’ve got a little one who loves characters and needs something comfy for water days. Kept him cruising all day without slipping! Worth the purchase!

These water shoes are really good quality and seem super durable, but just a heads up, they definitely run a size bigger and they’re pretty narrow. My son has regular-width feet and even he had a hard time getting them on comfortably.They’d probably be a better fit for kids with slimmer feet. I’d recommend sizing down and keeping the narrow fit in mind before ordering. Otherwise, they’re solid shoes for water play!

These water shoes are brightly colored. The red and blue are saturated in deep hues. The Sonic is easy to see and has crisp outlines.As for the water shoes, they are made very well. The fabric is soft and thick. It’s high quality and not likely to wear out quickly. I see these having no problem lasting one season. I mainly say that because kids feet grow so fast they probably wouldn’t fit two seasons. But they could easily be handed down to younger siblings.One of the reasons I chose these was because of the larger mouth to insert the child’s foot. With the cord around the top, you have wiggle room but can later cinch. The size is true for my grandson. He had a little bit of wiggle room but he’s also between sizes at the moment. Even so, I wouldn’t size up on these.I would recommend these water shoes. Even though they say for boys, I would say anyone who likes Sonic would love wearing them. They are Sonic colors and don’t necessarily have to be considered ‘boy’ or ‘girl’ colors. They fit well, are comfortable, protect little feet and are made well. For character shoes, these are a win.
