I ordered these to be able to protect my garden from my chickens. These hoops aren't very sturdy at all. If ONE chicken got it in their head that the garden looks tastey, this would collapse immediately. Fortunately, the chickens aren't that bright and really hate being caught in netting...which is keeping them out. None of them have had the bright idea to jump on this, yet.

I purchased this to go over my raised flower beds. Definitely helps keep the bugs out! And lets in water and light to the plants. Not to mention it also keeps the night creatures out! And even your pet if you have a dog like mine who likes to walk through your garden beds.Highly recommend, easy set up.

A single of the segments of a hoop (there are six segments per hoop with five connectors) is barely bendable. Six of those segments assembled in one hoop and bending it into a half circle makes me feel uncomfortable as they - according to my feeling - could break any moment. They might not, but I would not be too fond of splintering fiber glass.
