After using the tool a few times, I ejected a weed and the tool locked in the position making it unusable. I've tried lubricating it. I've tried gently hammering on it. It remains locked in the ejection position and usable. The fix is to turn the green handle. That not only lets you adjust the length but also unlocks the weed ejector.

Assembly instructions were not the greatest, but that being said it does the job very nicely. Would highly recommend this product

Works better then bending over or on the knees approach for weeding. However does not work as expected. One of the cheaper devices would work as well.

SKIP THIS PRODUCT. REALLY. I purchased 3 weeders: this, Grampas weedee, and the Fiskrs 4 claw weeder. Of the three that I tried, this one was the worst. Really, the worst. If I used this first, maybe I would have thought this was great, because it does the job with the big weeds. But I've used Grampas weeder for about a year, and using this after using that, made it difficult for me to like it.First, Fiskars and Grampas come rest to use, but this needs to be assembled and it wasn't as easy to assemble as the video made it appear. Second, it's heavier than the other two...so it gets to be tough. Third, THIS product, has the pump feature to release the weed but you have to really grip it to pump and release it. The Fiskars also has the release feature...and let me tell you, it comes off super easy with little effort, so the work gets done faster.The easiest one to use is the fiskars. The Grampas doesn't have a release pump so I used to just pull the weed off by hand but after getting a thorn, I now carry a knife and push down on the weed to remove it.The fastest one to use is the fiskars but my overall favorite to use is the Grampas weeder, because with both the fiskars and THIS product, if you miss pulling the weed on the first press, you can easily grab it with a second try. But with this product and the fiskars, if you don't get it all in one pass, you'll have to cut the weed out with a knife.I wouldn't want my kids to use this. There will be lots of complaints. For younger kids, is have them use the Fiskars, and with teens, the Grampas weeder.

Started to do yard work and my back started to ache. This thing is great. I can easily pull weeds and release them into a bucket afterwards. Does take a few tries to get the correct position over a weed, or plant. If plant is deeply rooted, might take a few tries.

Very Heavy and hard to install them together , instructions not clear , I will keep it because I have spend a lot of my time to put it together , I am around 40 kind of handy man . I don’t recommend it

They couldn’t believe how this product made pulling plants & roots so easy. They took it outside as soon as opened & musta pulled plants for hours! They said their backs never hurt & they got 10x amount done with this product! They even are telling their family & friends how great this is! Washing has beautiful flowers and nasty weeds but no more!
