Purchased this unit for my 2019 toyota tacoma and it is lightyears beyond the OEM system. It retained steering wheel button functionality and the OEM backup camera. I mainly purchased this unit to enable wireless android auto / car play witch it does flawlessly. I particularly like the ability to use the whole screen for navigation which helps with details and text that's often too small to read on a phone screen while driving. Make sure to use the included wired microphone and run it up to the roof/sunvisor area on the driver side as the microphone built into the face of the stero is quite muffled. Instilallation was relatively easy and straightforward. The design matches the interior and features seamless integration into the OEM trim. Absolute great value would recommend!

This is a second attempt in trying this company product both times i received a defective and poor quality unit. when trying to reach out to the company I contacted them directly through there website for only to get told they would not answer my question unless I contact them through Amazon so I did with very little to no help at all. I bought a head unit for a lot less and it worked perfectly and there customer service was outstanding helped me through the whole process and was extremely nice for half the cost of this over rated company and product. Never again !!!!

I ordered this head unit thinking if I didn't like it or it didn't work, I could return it in 30 days. Not only does it work, it has completely exceeded my expectations!First, A Mea Culpa, and a shout out to the Joying people. When I installed the unit, it worked. The steering wheel, backup camera, and AC controls did not work. After conversation with the Joying team, it was determined that I failed to make one important connection! The cable inside the radio cavity had fallen down, and it was hidden, so I never saw it. After searching, I found it, plugged it in and everything worked!The unit is an Android 12 device, and also has 4G data, if you choose to buy a data SIM. I did not, and simply updated it from my mesh at home. I added it to my Google Play and was able to install everything I wanted to use, like my own music player. I also put all my music on a 128GB USB stick, and use it to play music. Also, make sure you set the audio for 5.1, as it will sound 1000% better than the stock unit. I did not have the JBL system, and look forward to installing quality speakers in my doors for even better sound.Thanks for all the help!

It's not any better than older generations of joying radios, infact i think it's worse, it tends to crash more, the radio will just occasionally crash all apps and then needs a reboot in order to function. Fits good looks good too that's about it. Factory Reverse camera on my truck is supported but i literally have to smack the screen sometimes because the camera decides not to show up and strangely enough smacking the screen works. I am very disappointed with the new generation of joying, my previous was for an 08 Tacoma and it was wonderful.
