I bought this to be a pass through from the motorhome "cord storage area" into my rig so I could plug in my 30 amp cord to my 30 amp solar generator. That way I can keep my generator in my rig at all times, plug in the rig cord and not have to mess with taking the generator outside.

These are way to install - just use a hole saw to cut a 3.5" dia hole, then secure with appropriate screws (I used small wall anchors in drywall). Our use was running a 240v power cord through a 4" interior wall, so used one of these on each side of the wall.

Perfect diameter to replace my existing port on my 2009 Jayco. Too bad it does not have a pass through port that prevents the cord from falling inside. I manufactured my own using the back of another port and riveting them together. Good price and overall value.

I am trying to replace a round cable hatch on my RV. This is advertised as round, but what I received was square. Hopefully it will still fit. My RV at my hunting camp, so I cannot check it right away

I am using this as a cable pass thru in the inside garage wall of a house for an electric car charger cable (EVSE). I'm using 2, one on each side of the wall and they work well. Makes for a nice clean installation while allowing me to remove the j1772 plug if I need to go mobile w/ the charger.The door hinges and doors are high quality sturdy plastic and should last awhile. The only complaint I have is that the critter covers should be concave, not convex, so that they fit over the cable better, but that was easy to solve to prevent bugs from using the holes to get inside the house.
