PLEASE NOTE
1. Each tool in the factory when its force value has been adjusted, if necessary, please adjust its force value
2. Remove the protective cap and loosen the lock nut (5/16" spanner) so that the adjusting screw can be freely adjusted
3. Place the tool on the tension tester to adjust the force, if there is no suitable tester, you can adjust manually
Each Tool Has A Line Force Indicator That Has Been Set At The Factory
1. Insert the tester into the contact head. the tool must be in a straight line with the contact.
2. Using the standard, set the tool to the required force.
3. Wear safety glasses when using.
4. Apply pressure towards contact until slide aligns with indicator line and hold tester in position for at least 2 seconds, contact should remain in place if retention force is up to standard.
5. The tool should be checked every 2000 times to verify the force of the indicator line, and should be returned to the tool box in a dry and clean place when used up.

If you are working with Cannon Plugs at all this is a tool for you. As we move more and more to the automation end of manufacturing this is an absolute necessity for your tool box! The construction of this tool is surprisingly high quality! It will help find one of the biggest trouble areas that can haunt a troubleshooter, a loose connection! There are a complete variety of pins and cups for testing all of the different sizes you will encounter. There is also plenty of room in the case to add different sizes of tips that you collect.
