I have used cross stitch patterns from books on blank Aida cloth, so the instructions we okay for me. But I can see how a true beginner would have challenges.

The idea is beautiful but the execution leaves much to be desired. The instructions are atrocious. I'm not a novice and can complete this project but if I were, I'd likely be rather lost. The instructions are vague, incomplete, and poorly written. They do not provide a step by step direction for completing this kit. I doubt it will look exactly like the picture when I am done. Some of the stitches that they say to do seem off. Many of the colors are off, as well. And I doubt that I will have enough thread for some sections. The hoop is too small for the picture and definitely for display. The cloth is stiff and course and poorly made. Overall, I am disappointed with this product. There are better kits on Amazon. I should have read the reviews. I also don't know how it manages to have 3.5 stars. This is not a 3.5 star kit. MAYBE 2. Maybe.

I'm in a few embroidery groups, and this pattern has been the subject of many conversations. There are many who believe this pattern was stolen from an artist, or some who believe it to be AI. Regardless, your clouds absolutely will not turn out like the photo, and there are very little directions. The quality is also very cheap, and I have to do stitches over and over because the canvas material keeps over stretching.

This came out so great! I'm very happy with the finished product. It took me about 3 weeks start to finish. The instructions are not very clear and I had to use the picture often for reference. I finally came to terms with the fact that the product will not look exactly like it was advertised, so I started to wing it a bit. Get a different kit if you're just starting out or lack patience, but I promise its worth it. My one major complaint is that I ran out of the dark blue and the white so I had to buy some from the craft store ( I also purchased the ring at the craft store:)

Upon receiving the embroidery kit, I couldn't help but appreciate its adorable packaging and the inclusion of a quaint embroidery hoop. However, my journey with this kit had a rocky start. It took three attempts for the package to finally land on my doorstep due to various shipping mishaps – the first one got lost, the second one contained a random vacuum part instead, and only on the third try did I receive the intended kit.The embroidery hoop, while charming, turned out to be smaller than expected, making it a bit challenging to complete the border and the image all in one go. Additionally, the instructions, or lack thereof, were a bit disappointing. Instead of providing step-by-step guidance, they simply listed the required stitch, color, and number of strands for each general section.As a novice embroiderer, I anticipated some level of difficulty, but I believe labeling this kit as beginner-friendly might be a stretch considering the format of the instructions. It would greatly benefit from a reformatted approach, providing clear, section-by-section guidance for smoother navigation, especially for those just starting out.Despite these initial setbacks, I remain optimistic about delving into this project and will update with my progress as I navigate through the stitching journey.

I’m a beginner and found these instructions unclear and the sample picture too dark to easily copy. I love the colors and the picture but decided to return it for fear of getting frustrated. I may try it in a year after I get more experienced.

I was so excited to receive this kit, I'm trying to improve upon my embroidery skills, when I received it I was pretty disappointed with the instructions. The kit itself seems to have everything included but the instructions didn't include all the stitches you need to complete this and some of the stitches they do tell you to use seemed wrong and in places color seemed wrong. I still haven't finished this kit because I felt pretty confused and frustrated with it. I keep trying to pick it back up and figure it out myself but so far it's hard to do for this one. Would love if they had an updated video or something online to help, I still love the idea of this kit!
